Video instruction

Watch the video instruction to learn how to recharge FrostMEISTER products step by step.

STEP 1

Preparation

1. Start the engine and turn on the air conditioning. Set the fan to maximum and the temperature to the lowest setting.

2. Turn the knob on the hose to fully retract the needle.

3. Shake the can, then screw it onto the hose.

4. Open the car hood and locate the low-pressure (LP) valve. It will have a gray or black plastic cap.

STEP 2

Charging process

1. Connect the quick connector from the hose with the pressure gauge to the low-pressure (LP) valve in the vehicle's air conditioning system.
*If you are using R1234yf gas, first attach the gold R1234yf adapter to the hose.

2. Check the system pressure using the pressure gauge:

  • If the pressure is within the range of 25–45 psi, charging is not necessary.
  • If the pressure is below 25 psi, proceed to the next step.

3. Start refilling the refrigerant by turning the knob on the hose until the valve on the can is pressed. Remember to hold the can upside down while charging.

4. Refill the refrigerant gradually, controlling the flow by turning the knob.

During charging, the pressure gauge may show temporarily elevated values – this is normal.
Stop charging when the pressure reaches the recommended level or when the can is empty.

STEP 3

Ending

1. Disconnect the hose from the low-pressure valve.

2. Check the air temperature from the cabin vent. The air should be clearly cool.

3. If the effect is not satisfactory, check the system pressure and if necessary, add another dose of refrigerant.
